1. US settlement EB5 maintains the level of 500,000 USD

In 2020, Behring Regional Center sued Chad Wolf (Acting Secretary of Homeland Security) for violating Federal law by arbitrarily applying new laws to the EB-5 Investor Program.

In 2021, the District Court ruled in favor of the Regional Center and the Government has 60 days to appeal.

In 2022, the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) officially announced that it had withdrawn its appeal in its lawsuit against Behring Regional Center LLC.

The content of the lawsuit concerns the Trump administration's wrongful appointment of the Secretary and therefore the request to invalidate the  new EB-5 law issued by the Department. The result of the lawsuit helps to invalidate the EB5 law with an investment of 900,000 USD and return the investment of 500,000 USD as the old law.
