If you applied after 1 July 2015 and were invited to apply for this visa before 1 July 2021, you can stay in Australia for up to 4 years and 3 months.
You can leave and re-enter Australia as many times as you like while your visa is valid. The visa begins on the day it is issued.
After obtaining this visa, if you want to stay longer, you can apply for a new visa. One of the attractions of Visa 188 is that the holder can travel outside of Australia and return here while the visa is still valid. Your stay outside of Australia does not extend your visa.
The Australian visa is digital and does not have a visa sticker on the passport. Instead, the digital visa profile will be linked to your passport.
Visa 188 holders can freely enter and exit Australia
