DIFFERENT US VISA APPLICATION DATE AND DATE

1. Distinguishing US Visa Submission and Due Date

It is very important to distinguish between the US Visa Filing Date and the US Visa Due Date for those who are waiting for the US immigration application to be reviewed. The Department of State (DOS) Visa Bulletin is the most important information to check each month. Visa Calendar helps applicants know where their application is on the visa waiting list.

Most family or employment immigrant visas have an annual quota. When the number of immigrant applications in a certain category is higher than the number of quotas per year, these visas are called “oversubscribed” and are subject to chronological precedence pending approval. application period.
